An oxidant designed for precision work
Noemi offers two types of oxidants: cream solutions and a gel solution. Gel Solution 3% is the technical oxidant in the range. While the cream Solution 3% is designed for standard oxidation and a balanced skin stain, the gel version was developed to create a more defined stain on the skin while maintaining even and controlled colour development. It is the logical choice when the treatment focuses as much on shaping and defining the brows as it does on tinting the hair.
Like the cream Solution 3%, it acts as a standard activator: it ensures reliable colour development, is suitable for most eyebrow and eyelash tinting treatments, and delivers an even, radiant result.
Texture and mixing properties
The mixing ratio remains the same as for the other oxidants: 1:1. However, the gel texture changes the consistency of the final mixture and therefore the way it is applied.
Combined with a cream tint, it creates a cream-gel mixture: comfortable application, precise work on both the hair and skin, and a more pronounced skin stain. This combination is suitable for medium-density brows.
Combined with a gel tint, it creates a smooth, even gel mixture suitable for graphic techniques, hairstroke techniques and detailed application on the skin. This combination allows the product to be layered to create gradual colour gradients.
Compatibility within the Noemi range
All Noemi oxidants are compatible with the brand's cream and gel tints. Gel Solution 3% can therefore be used with the entire Noemi core colour palette.
Tinting after a brow lift
After a brow lift, the hairs are more flexible and sensitive. In this case, Solution 0% or Gel Solution 3% is recommended, as both oxidants are gentle on the hair structure. Gel Solution 3% provides a slightly more intense result than the 0% solution without weakening the hairs. Combined with a cream tint, it provides visible yet soft colour with good control during application. Combined with a gel tint, it delivers intense colour and crisp contours while remaining gentle on the hair and skin.
Solution 6%, however, is not recommended immediately after a lift.
Benefits for professional use
Having Gel Solution 3% alongside cream oxidants expands the range of results you can achieve using the same selection of tints. You can adapt the texture of the mixture to the density of the brows and the client's desired result without increasing the number of colour references you need to stock. The 14 ml size is ideal for trying the texture or for occasional use, while the 50 ml size is suited to regular professional use.

Storage
- Shelf life: see the label on the bottle
Close the bottle immediately after each use, store it away from direct light and heat sources, and keep it in an upright position. Do not use the product if the texture becomes liquid, the bottle swells or the gel becomes cloudy.
Instructions for use and protocol
This protocol applies to both cream and gel tints, regardless of the developer used. The parameters that vary depending on the developer (resulting texture, recommended use and application after a lift) are detailed in the table below.
- Perform the preliminary sensitivity test.
- Prepare the hairs and skin: cleanse, degrease and dry the area.
- Protect the skin around the area to be treated. For eyelashes, isolate the lower eyelid with suitable patches.
- Choose the developer according to the desired result and the condition of the hairs (see table).
- Measure the chosen Noemi cream or gel tint into a non-metallic bowl. Then add the same amount of developer (1:1 mixing ratio).
- Mix until you achieve a smooth, even texture. The mixture should stay on the brush without running.
- Apply a thin, even layer. Allow 3 to 5 minutes for application to both eyebrows.
- Leave to process for 10 to 15 minutes on the eyebrows and approximately 10 minutes on the eyelashes. After a brow lift or lash lift, reduce the processing time to 5 to 10 minutes on the eyebrows and 5 to 8 minutes on the eyelashes, following the specific recommendations for each developer. Processing time depends on the shade, hair thickness and skin type. Check the colour regularly until the desired result is achieved.
- Remove with a damp cotton pad.
- Shape the eyebrows after tinting, not before.
